iCheckTPMS IC008 & Signal Booster

The iCheck system was super easy to fit and get up and running. After that the system looks after itself monitoring pressures and keeping you informed. I had a tyre with a slow leak that I didn't notice until the monitor alarmed. This allowed me to easily get to my local tyre repair shop and have it fixed. So much easier than waiting until the tyre was flat enough to notice and therefore too flat to keep driving. Also has been great out on the tracks. You never notice a flat with all those ruts and bumps until it is too late and the tyre is wrecked. This system notifies before the tyre is destroyed and allows you to complete a temporary repair. Thanks for such a great product.

Easy to install. Reset number 5 & 8 to rear of dual axel caravan as per instructions (very easy so dont waste your money on the 10 set) . Cant believe we have travelled over 3 years without them. Booster picks up the car 20 metres away in driveway !! Dont know where the supplied rubber orings go as not in instructions. A second spanner would be nice for locknuts - 1 in tow car and 1 in van.

We started with 5 which saved us on the corrugations leaving South Lefroy by alarming us and preventing further tyre damage after hitting a rock on the side wall. Now we have added another 3 after purchasing our caravan.

Absolutely vital when towing our caravan through remote Australia. Twice we were alerted to overheating on the Oodnadatta track. This not just saved our tyres but also what consequences could have been so remote.
When driving solo, easy to turn off the van connected sensors & perfect for automatically adjusting pressures when I'm off road.
With the extended receiver works well to monitor the spare on the van.

I recieved my 10 sensor pack with signal booster and it's a great bit of kit. Easy to install and all the sensors picked up automatically and its set. I used some Velcro to attach the monitor to my dash mat. Perfect.

This unit is one of the best I have ever owned, compared to my previous brands ,the iCheck unit is super reliable and doesn't give any false alarms or continual beeping for no apparent reason .
I would highly recommend the iCheck unit for anyone looking for a super reliable tyre pressure monitoring system for both car and caravan.

So with the 8 sensors installed (2 plus spare on caravan), they have been flawless. Having ready access to the tyre pressures saves time and gives me piece of mind when driving. Even with inbuilt pressure readings on my dual cab ute, I prefer and trust the iCheck more.

I have found it simple to "connect/disconnect" the readings from the van when not towing, so that is great. I did need to add the Signal Booster as my van is a 15foot all alloy construction, so the van signals cound be a bit hit and miss. But now the signal from both wheels and the spare are rock solid.

Can be a little fiddly to add or remove air from the tyre as I am using the supplied "lock" nuts to keep the units secure, but that is FAR outwayed by the comfort of having tyre pressure monitored.

I would highly recommend and have done already to friends, family and collegues.

I’ve had the iCheck TPMS on my cruiser and dual axle caravan. They are an essential tool for the traveller and general day user. I can instantly see what pressures and temperatures my tyres are running and can confidently predict issues such as overheating and high or low pressures. The warning system has saved me from costly blowouts with leaks being picked up immediately on multiple occasions. I highly recommend any driver install these for safety and money saving.

Have had the iCheck Tyre Pressure Monitoring System on my car now for 4 years and only have just changed out the batteries in the past couple of weeks. Have never let me down and I love how you can set different parameters for the unit in terms of ranges of PSI.

The biggest advantage is peace of mind. Being able to monitor all tyres in real time from the cabin is a game changer, particularly on long trips. The system gives accurate pressure and temperature readings, and the alerts are loud and clear if anything drops or overheats. That alone could save you from a blowout or serious damage.

Setup was surprisingly straightforward. Pairing the sensors didn’t take long, and once it’s done, it pretty much runs itself. The display is easy to read, even in bright daylight, and cycles through each tyre nicely. The sensors themselves feel solid and haven’t given me any issues with leaks or signal dropouts.

Battery life has been good so far, and I like that it’s a full 10-sensor kit—perfect for a dual-axle caravan plus the tow vehicle. Not many systems cover that many tyres without needing add-ons.

If I had to nitpick, the initial setup instructions could be a bit clearer, but once you get the hang of it, it’s smooth sailing.

Overall, it’s a reliable, practical bit of gear that adds an extra layer of safety on the road. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone doing long-distance towing or touring.

Great system, easy to use and read the data on the screen.
Absolute two best features are the head unit is solar powered so no need to run a cord, and when changing tyre pressures (either deflating or reinflating) the unit automatically sets the new pressure… so no need to program the pressure setting every time.
While I haven’t had the misfortune of a blowout or leaking tyre, I believe in the system

We purchased the IC008 package to monitor both the car and a single-axle caravan (including spare wheels).

Having the tyre pressures monitored constantly in the background means one less thing to worry about when towing. With just a quick glance, we can see how the tyre pressures and temperatures are reacting to our driving situation.

As we regularly go off-road with the van, the automatic pressure reset function is great when needing to adjust our tyre pressures to suit the changing road conditions.

After using the system for a couple of trips, we also invested in the optional bearing monitor kit to keep an eye on the state of our caravan's wheel bearings for additional peace of mind.

We purchased these before embarking on a 13500 klm trip from Tassie to Cape York and back. As we were travelling solo we wanted the ability to know about any arising issues before they became a problem.
These tyre monitors saved us on more than one occasion.
We were on our way south and on the Old Coach Road. Just crawling up a small section after a minor river crossing and pinched a sidewall. The monitor almost instantly alerted us to the dropping pressure. Unfortunately that tyre wasn't salvageable.
The second time was late at night and trying to get to Inskip Point for camp. The monitor started beeping. That's when we realised we had a slow leak in another tyre. We were able to pull over and plug the hole and then change plans so we drove towards nearby towns to arrange a new tyre the next morning. Without these monitors we would have destroyed a second tyre and been stranded in Qld on a time crunch to get the Spirit back home.

Easy to fit and connect. Worked well for 13 months then the screen stopped showing the numbers after a few hours. I contacted icheck via email with pictures of the problem they asked how old it was. I checked unfortunately it was just out of warranty I told them that and said thanks for looking into it. I got a return email saying send it back it’s only just out of warranty we will check it out. Apparently it’s been fixed and being returned as I write this. Not something many companies would do for a customer, so great service for a good product, things happen things break but they don’t always get fixed. Thanks for the great service.

Great product, saved us when we got a puncture on our caravan when we were in an isolated area, we’re able to stop we it alarmed and check tyre which had a side wall tear.

Had a slow leak that I didn't detect but my sensors did. Was able to get my tyre repaired before any more damage could be done.

I used the icheck TPMS on our caravan when we were doing the big lap around Australia. The icheck TPMS worked flawlessly. We covered around 70,000 kilometres and saved me and the caravan a couple of times when it picked up one of the tyres were becoming low in air pressure. Not only was I able to stop and fix the puncture, I saved damaging the caravan. It's the best money I've spent. I would highly recommend them and have done while living on the road.

Pressure monitor has a very easy set up to keep a watch on tyre pressures.
